The Council does however find it difficult to reconcile the apparently conflicting claims by the applicant that the lights are required for security purposes but that they will be switched off after 7.30pm. In view of this and the previous history of problems with flood lighting at the site, the Council OBJECT to the application, unless the Planning Officer can assure the Council that the proposed lighting scheme will not cause a nuisance to nearby residents |
