Parish Council meeting - dates and venues

  • 16th May 7.30p.m Annual General Meeting followed by Parish Council Meeting at Edlesborough Memorial Hall
  • 20th June 7.30p.m at All Saints Church Hall, Dagnall
  • 18th July 7.30p.m at Edlesborough Memorial Hall

Sports Clubs

Joint meetings are taking place with all the Sports Clubs to discuss the future of the Pavilion.

Allotments

A new gate has been erected at the entrance to Dagnall Allotments. There are still one or two allotments available in Edlesborough and Northall.

Street Lighting

Council to consider the cost and benefits of more modern replacement lamp fittings.

Bus Shelter

Work is required to repair the bus shelter in High Street, Edlesborough.

Recycling

Information regarding all aspects of Recycling and Waste collections etc.is regularlar printed in Aylesbury Vale Times magazine. The Garden Waste collection for the May Bank Holiday 6th May will take place on Saturday 11th May and for the Bank Holiday Monday 27th May the collection will take place on Saturday 1st June.

Carnival

Edlesborough Parish Council will not be having a stall this year.

The Anne Thompson Cup for Excellence for 2013 will be presented to a member of the local Cub/Scout group.

Best Kept Village Competition

Having been very successful in winning the Cup in 2012 Edlesborough will be entering the Tindall Cup in 2013 which is a category for past winners so please continue to keep your gardens looking their best and refrain from allowing dog fouling.

Northall

Anglian Water are in communication with Bucks Highways regarding the flooding of Chapel Lane.

Dagnall

No further information regarding 'Gadsden Walk'.
