The Parish Cemetery access project is unfortunately on hold pending further estimates being received.
A further Police Surgery was held in November and those attending were informed by the Police that many of the issues raised at the previous meeting were being attended to. It has been decided that the Police Surgeries will be held every 3 months in future.
The General Purposes Committee are in discussion with the Under 5’s regarding the extension of the outside play area adjacent to the Memorial Hall and agreement has been reached that additional outside areas can be allocated to the Under 5’s and work will be carried out by the Under 5’s in the New Year.
The Remembrance Service held this year at Edlesborough had been very well attended. Suggestions for traffic diversions during the service when this is held at Edlesborough are being put to Thames Valley Police.
Bucks County Council are being urged to replace the missing Village signs throughout the parish and a request made to cut back the encroachment of grass over many of the footpaths.
It has been observed that ‘builders rubble’ is appearing in the litter bins and the Parish Council would emphasize that the litter bins are established in the villages as a convenience for parishioners to place litter such as paper, bottles, cans etc. and should not be used for heavy waste.
Further graffiti has appeared on the Pavilion over the Christmas period and damage caused to the roof of the Memorial Hall.
