Parish Plan - due to difficulty in arranging a date for the Public Meeting prior to Christmas and the New Year, this will now be held on Wednesday 7th February 2007 in the Edlesborough Memorial Hall at 7.45pm for a 8.00pm start.
Quotations are being sought to provide a hard surface play area for the Basketball Net. The play area equipment is being repainted and repairs carried out to the roundabout. The existing goal posts require repairing or replacing.
The planning application for a further Dentist’s Surgery in Edlesborough has been refused.
Further traffic calming measures are being investigated for the Church End/Leighton Road area of Edlesborough.
The result of the recent streetlighting survey carried out in Northall did not receive an overwhelming response. 66 letters were distributed with 31 responses received, 19 in favour and 12 against.
Police had to be called to a disturbance in Edlesborough on Halloween Night where approximately 50 youths from neighbouring villages converged and caused extensive vandalism.
Please Note that the date of the January Parish Council meeting will be changed from Thursday 18th January 2007 to Thursday 25th January 2007.
